Mexican Actors Back Gay Marriage Law

Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna were among 51 Mexican celebrities that recently voiced support for Mexico City's new law legalizing gay civil unions, which was passed early this month by local legislators. In a half-page open letter published in several newspapers, the actors stated that "the vote for the civil-unions law was a vote in favour of liberty, social equality and the strength of civil society. " In a country where the Catholic way of life rules, this is definitely a huge step forward for gay rights. I couldn't be prouder of all the celebrities that have had the courage to admit their support for homosexuality.

Turistas

"Turistas" is director John Stockwell's most recent film. An adventure, horror, thriller drama, the movie hits theaters on December first. Being that it takes place in the beautiful beaches of Brazil, the cast is stunningly beautiful, having as lead character no other than Josh Duhamel.

The storyline goes as follow: after a bus accident maroons a diverse group of young adventure travelers in a remote Brazilian beach town, they slowly discover that the white sand beaches and lush jungles are concealing a darker, unsettling secret. Then people start dying!

I only hope the movie doesn't end up scaring real tourists from visiting Brazil.

The Real World: Denver

'The Real World: Denver' is MTV's eighteenth season of its popular reality television series, which premiers this Wednesday 22nd. Yay, I can't wait for the drama and from the look of it, the new cast wont disappoint us one bit as it promises to bring the craziness to a new hi.

As you would imagine, complete opposites integrate the cast. On the one hand there is Davis, the gay Christian frat boy, who for sure wont be too lovie dovie with Stephen, an ultra conservative/homophobic Christian goodie to shoes.

Then there is Alex, a laid back and super sexy Texan who doesn't have much in common with Ty, an ex gang member and martial arts competitor. Just one more day!!
