A Skin Deep Playstation
Playstation is finally trying to redeem itself. Early last summer, the video game franchise issued a series of ads to promote its brand new PSP White, which were censured as demeaning and racist. In these ads, a white woman is portrayed as bullying a black woman (below).
In a most recent ad, however, Playstation changes things around by implying that their White PSP is actually black in the inside. A smarter move, but I still don't like them.

I hate how racial sentitive Americans are, do we really think a multi-billion dollar company would intentionally alienate part of its market?? (publicity stunt??) I guess It's possible, I feel it's unlikely, either way SONY should have done it's homework, IDIOTS!!!!! I like this post
Actually the ad was published only in the European market.
And the complaints were made by some of the whitest countries in Europe. Kind of cool, huh.
You must forward me the article. I can almost guarentee you had this ad campaign been launched in the US you would have national protests.
