I have that short on the Boys Life series of DVDs I have, along with other day-themed and mainstream DVDs and VHS tapes as well. For me, we didn't have anything like that at school though it was different after leaving school. Thanks for posting.
Dare has convinced me to get all of the DVDs. Such a great short, only wish it was turned into a whole movie.
Fishbelly White (23 min. short) inspired the making of The Mudge Boy (94 min. film) which stars Emile Hirsch who also was in the Lords of Dogtown which I also have. So of these shorts are just mere teasers and a full length movie would do the story justice.
Lets hope so. I was left craving for so much more...I even though of possible beginnings and endings...I would certainly intertwine the school play and over all story (almodovar style) so that both lead to a happy gay ending.
