Alan Ritchson for N2N
American Urge loves Alan Ritchson! I mean, who doesn't? We live for him as Aquaman, as the exposer and as the American Idol reject, lol. However, it is because we love him that we need to be extra honest with him: Dude, this campaign sucks!
First of all, that hair has got to go. You are not The Talented Mr. Ripley! The makeup artist needs to get fired immediately, I mean, you look like you have not been under the sun a day in your life! And the photographer, well, he could have found better angles to accentuate your goods if you know what I mean.
Don't get me wrong, you look hot regardless, but these are pics I could have taken with my cellphone. We demand a re-shoot! [Source] More images after the jump.

Are you out of your f-ing mind? Alan Richson couldn't look better or hotter in the amazing N2N Bodywear photos. Finally a gay oriented company has put together a campaign and a collection that glorifies the male form without the cheap and tacky looking designs of most gay apparel companies. N2N should be applauded for consistently creating collections each season that keep getting better and better. If you have followed the growth of the company over the years, you can see that they have evolved into a company that could send the line down any runway with great applause.
Getting back to Alan Richson, his hair looks great, he has the classic blond wedge cut, a little scruffy. It works. I am pleased to see that again, he doesn't have that typical gay, baked in the sun look. His skin looks natural.
I must add that I am quite pleased and surprised to see a model/actor of his stature posing in such revealing clothes. I don't know how they got him, but kudos to N2N for a job well done.
One more thing, can't any of you gossip writers ever find something nice to say about anyone?
I agree with the comments regarding N2N's drifting away from their earlier, sexier models and photoshoots. Its not a mere gossip to state observation based facts.
N2N featured their sexiest models in 2006. I don't recall the model's names, but they were masculine and handsome.... especially the shorter one (a classic hunk)
The models brought in for 2007 were badly lit, poorly posed, and the black haired one's hair was a greasy mess. They were each too girly and high-schoolish in appearance.
The one I speak about also modeled, surprisingly well in the Undergear Campaign and on a DNA cover.
N2N has some of the sexiest cuts in men's skimpy fashions. Wish they would utilize masculine men, without those pretty girl hairstyles which defeats the purpose of appealing to a eye-catching oriented market.
I'm glad the blogger has the guts to say it... and that my own observation is is validated.

Alan Ritchson is hot, but I remember there was a guy, around 2006 as mentioned, who was hot in the extreme. He appeared in the ads with Matus Valent, the sexy Czech model who looked scruffy and abashed in the shoot (he was wearing sheer). The other guy was shorter, with brown, army guy hair and a mean as hell look. Wish I knew who he was...
Might I add that the fresh, sex-without-sleaze look of N2N is a breath of fresh air. After all the rubber and chain mail crap I see in 'hot' underwear catalogues here's something that's wearable and doesn't have them backing off in the locker room! I love this whole sport/sex thing that designers are doing now, and let's face it, the fact that it can appeal just as much to straight guys choosing their own underwear makes it even hotter, eh?!
I agree that a fresher approach works better. So many 'gay' fashion spreads are so overt about getting laid that it overshadows the product, makes the men appear to be sex zombies ("I need sex, I need sex, I need sex...") with no other aspect to their lives. Ritchson is real and I personally like the lighter skin (what most MEN look like).
